We’re all living through an emergency on an unprecedented scale. Although the situation changes every day, one thing is certain: viruses know no borders.

The impact of this health crisis on some of the world’s most vulnerable communities has been catastrophic. We Rhythm Trust has teamed up with the Ms Lauren Hill Foundation to help people around the world survive this pandemic.

COVID-19 Response Projects

We are working to provide basic hygiene needs to vulnerable women and girls (Kayeye) during this period in Accra. We have included an estimated budget for 5,000 women for a two week period to provide the following items:

• Hand Sanitizer
• Insect Repellent
• Sanitary Pads
• Water
• Meals

The Nsuo Ye Nkwa Foundation was founded in 2020 by a group of professionals and business owners to support public health initiatives in Ghana.

The  COVID-19 food fund to support people facing hunger during this period.  Priority areas:

• Northern Cape Barak Obama Settlement =278 Orlando
• West Soweto (Home of Nelson Mandela) =195
• Dobsonville and Jabulani Soweto = 258

The cost of feeding 1 family for a month is R1650 (USD 86) This includes the distribution and logistics costs. This is a subsidized food parcel price that we have been able to negotiate with wholesale businesses who are also suffering and that we are doing our best to support to help keep them afloat.

A relief program to provide 500 of the most vulnerable families and orphanages with a package of food and basic needs. This package includes but not limited to, dry food, bread, cereals, beverages, and cleaning items, and is expected to last them for a few weeks.

Serving in Love supports and partners with homes, shelters, hospitals, and like-minded organizations that have a particular focus on women and children. We continuously seek initiatives that meet the immediate and medium-term needs of the people in our communities, as well as, those which provide a long-term sustainable solution.
